Wanda Kay Taylor Scholarship

Mercy Seat Ministries administers scholarship funds for single parents who are pursuing a degree in an institution of higher learning (vocational/trade school, college, university). Scholarships will be awarded primarily on the basis of a submitted essay, community service, financial need, and grade point average (GPA), if current high school graduate or presently attending college.

Criteria

• Complete the scholarship application
• Typewritten essay (400 - 500 words in length, 12 pt. font, double spaced) that addresses a assigned topic
• Proof of 3.0 overall GPA (copy of current transcript/report card)
• Evidence of community service

Two scholarships in the amount of 0 are available to two single parents. The Awards banquet will be announced at a later date.

The scholarship check will be made out to the attention of the college or school of the recipient's choice, after a copy of an official acceptance letter has been submitted to Mercy Seat Ministries.
